Cultural journalist Ovi Moinuddin started his acting career with legendary film actor Razzak in a telefilm titled Daibhar.
Under the direction of Khalid Hossain Samrat Ovi acted in role of an orphan who later becomes a journalist in the telefilm.
Shooting of the telefilm was taken place at a new school in the city’s Uttara area recently. While talking about Ovi Razzak told this correspondent, “Ovi is one of my favourite journalists. I never think him as a journalist. I always feel him as a member of my family. His journalism career started with our attachments. He had planned to act with us. For this reason, I gave him the opportunity. I wish his success.”
Ovi Moinuddin shared his feelings by this way, “When I was a student of Cadet College I was inspired to do acting from Abul Hossain sir. But I didn’t act. Samrat helped me a lot to fulfil my many days’ dream. At first, I was nervous to work with Razzak uncle. But he cooperated me well. It is a great achievement in my life to work with him. I am really glad in this regard.”
