A mobile court of Rangpur City Corporation (RCC) today evicted over 50 illegal roadside shops and other establishments from the footpaths in the city.
The eviction drive will continue in future as part of the plan to evict or demolish all illegal structures and establishments from the illegally occupied footpaths and other lands in the city, a press release said.
Newly appointed Executive Magistrate of RCC S M Golam Kibria led the mobile court in presence of the concerned RCC officials and police personnel.
On the first day today, the mobile court evicted the illegally erected shops and establishments from Jahaz Company Mour to RCC Office areas.
