SSC and equivalent examinations will be start today ( September 15).
This year 18 thousand 950 candidates are participating in Manikganj district. Among the 34 centers of the district, there are 15 thousand 571 students in SSC, 2 thousand 442 students in Vocational, 800 students in Dakhil examination and 137 students in Dakhil Vocational. It should be noted that due to severe floods in Sylhet region and increase in corona outbreak this year, the dates of two exams have been changed.
According to Manikganj Additional Deputy Commissioner (Education and ICT) office sources, there are 19 centers for SSC examination, 9 centers for vocational, 3 centers for Dakhil and 3 centers for Dakhil Vocational in 7 upazilas. Among these, there are four SSC centers, two vocational centers and one Dakhil center in the district town. Besides, there are 15 SSC, 7 Vocational, 2 Dakhil and 3 Dakhil Vocational centers at upazila level.
Meanwhile, this year the SSC and equivalent exams will be held for 2 hours starting at 11 am instead of the previous tradition under the government guidelines due to the prevailing circumstances.
Shahzadpur (Sirajganj ) Correspondent reports: According to Upazila Secondary Education Office, a total of 6,620 candidates have filled the form to participate in the SSC, SSC (Vocational) and Dakhil examinations this year.
Among them 1 thousand 675 students in Shahzadpur Government Model Pilot High School Center, 1 thousand 475 students in Shahzadpur Ibrahim Girls High School Center, 609 students in Jamirta High School Center, 913 students in Maulana Saif Uddin Ehia High School Center, 402 students in Talgachi Abu Ishaq High School Center. , 735 students at Garadah Girls High School Center, 370 students at Khukni Bahumukhi High School Center and 441 students at Hazrat Mukhdam Shah Daulah Darul Khuld Fazil Madrasa Center will participate in the examination.
Shahzadpur Upazila Executive Officer Md. Tariqul Islam and Upazila Secondary Education Officer SM Shahadat Hossain will visit the centers from this morning.
Upazila Secondary Education Officer SM Shahadat Hossain said that the centers are being prepared so that the candidates can participate in the examination properly. There will be one center secretary in each center.
UNO Md. Tariqul Islam said that in Shahzadpur , students will be systematically introduced to the examination center for the purpose of examination in a peaceful and plagiarism-free environment. The centers will be visited regularly.
Lohagara (Chattogram) Correspondent adds: Some 5 thousand 139 people are participating in SSC and equivalent exams in Lohagara of South Chattogram. Among them, the total number of candidates of 32 secondary schools is 3 thousand 758.
The total number of examinees from 23 madrasas is 1 thousand 230 and 151will participate in the examination under technical board from two educational institutions.
It is known that among the examination centers in the upazila there are 1 thousand 260 examinees at Lohagara Shahpir Pilot High School, 803 examinees at South Satkania Golambari Government Model High School, 1 thousand 199 at Mostafa Begum Girls High School and 496 at Chunati Mehrunnicha High School. 723 in Amirabad Sufia Alia Madrasa center and 507 in Sukhchhari Rahmaniya center among the submitted candidates.
In addition, 151 candidates from two educational institutions have been admitted to Barahatia Malpukuria Mishkatul Ulum Madrasa center under technical board. It is said that full preparation has been taken for the examination of the candidates in the examination centers.
