Health and Family Welfare Minister Mohammad Nasim on Monday said the government provided over 13,000 computers to community clinics and 24,000 health workers received tabs having internet facilities aimed at giving healthcare service along with preparing database.
“The government provided computers, laptops and tablet computers with internet facilities from healthcare organisations and hospitals in national level to community clinics and rural health workers,” he said this, while replying to a starred question from treasury bench member Begum Mahzabeen Khaled in the Jatiya Sangsad.
The minister said the government established local area network between all upazila hospitals and district hospitals aimed at updating information through online database.
