Public Administration Ministry Secretary Dr. Md. Mozammel Haque Khan said the outline to form a body on quota system reform was sent to Prime Minister’s Office (PMO).
He made the remarks to reporters in secretariat on Thursday.
Secretary Mozammel said-an outline has been prepared for constituting the committee on May 9 and sent it to PMO on yesterday. The committee will be formed after Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina reviews it. The government has decided to form a committee led by cabinet division secretary to determine steps on reforming or abolishing quota system in public service. Final decision of quota system will taken based on the report produced by the committee.
