Outgoing Spanish Ambassador to Bangladesh Luis Tejada Chacon made a farewell call on President Abdul Hamid at Bangabhaban on Monday.
During the meeting, the envoy told the President that he enjoyed his assignment in Bangladesh and hoped that bond of economic cooperation would continue to grow in the days ahead, President’s press secretary Ihsanul Karim told UNB.
The President expressed the hope that the bilateral relations between the two countries would continue to grow for mutual benefits of the two countries.
Abdul Hamid gave the Spanish envoy an idea about the life of haor area from where the President.
The Spanish envoy expressed his keen interest about haor area, and thanked the President for extending cooperation during his assignment in Bangladesh.
