Dr. Abdullah Bin Naser Al-Busairi, outgoing Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) to Bangladesh, made a farewell call on President Abdul Hamid at Bangabhaban on Wednesday.
During the call on, the President recalled his recent visit to Saudi Arabia to perform the holy Hajj and conveyed thanks and gratitude to the Saudi government, particularly the king, for extending hospitality to him and the members of his entourage.
Abdul Hamid expressed his hope that the KSA would consider employing more Bangladeshis in the future.
The President thanked the ambassador for his efforts to take bilateral relations to a new height and his dedicated services for the last six-and a half years.
He also expressed the hope that the Saudi ambassador would continue to generate his goodwill for Bangladesh wherever he goes in the future.
Dr Abdullah Bin Naser Al-Busairi said Bangladesh-Saudi Arabia relations would continue to strengthen in the days to come.
The ambassador also informed the President that some of the problems faced by Bangladeshi workers in Saudi Arabia have been solved.
He thanked the President and the Prime Minister for their cooperation in discharging his assignments in Bangladesh.
