President of Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) Kazi Salahuddin said, ” Our development programmes of Bangladesh’s football have been started.”
Kazi Salahuddin spoke at a press conference at the conference room of BFF House on Sunday.
Salahuddin said, ” Bangladesh National Men’s Football team’s physical conditioning and assessment camp has been started at BKSP in Savar since December. For the first time we are conducting such kind of camp, which will primarily assess our players physiologically and mentally. The players have been prepared for the upcoming Sheikh Kamal International Gold Cup.”
He said, ” Bangladesh Under-16 Women’s team are taking part in the J-Green Sakai Ladies’ Festival at Osaka in Japan. They are now competing with the upgraded players. The Under-16 Women’s player development plan is an all-round educational programme including physical, psychological, technical and tactical development.”
BFF supreme said, ” Bangladesh National Women’s Football team became runners-up in SAFF Women’s Championship on January 4. This is the best result for any Bangladesh National Women’s Football team, so far.”
BFF boss said, ” Bangladesh Under-14 Boys’ Football team became champions in the Plate Group of Super Mokh Cup recently. I hope the boys will be perform well in future if they get proper coaching.”
He said, ” Bangladesh Football Federation has discussed with the representatives of the clubs, which are taking part in BPL and BCL. We have arranged some workshops with the players of the clubs. The technical director conducted those workshops and said the participants were keen about their responsibility. “
Salahuddin said, “Our target is to bring our football in an upgraded stage. We want to get good result from our female footballers. We are very optimistic about our National Women’s Under-16 team. We also hope that the age group boys footballers will do better in future. For this target we shall arrange long-term coaching programmes for the development of male and female footballers.”
