Cultural Affairs Minister Asaduzzaman Noor said that our culture is continuously struggling to prevent evil and dark forces.
“The cultural activists of our country are struggling always in the front line …the good forces must win”, said the minister.
The minister said this on Friday while speaking as the chief guest at the inaugural function of ‘Bangladesh Music Week 2015’at Shilpakala Academy in the city.
Life Square in association with Norwegian Embassy organized the function.
Managing Director of Life Square Nafis Ahmed, chaired the event. Norwegian Ambassador in Bangladesh Merete Lundemo was present as special guest.
The Norwegian Ambassador praised the folklore of the country and said Bangladesh is very rich in music.
Different band music teams would play during the two-day programme.
