A two-day ‘Ostokalin kirtan’ on the occasion of ‘Shivratri’ has come to an end at the Sri Sri Joykali Mandir in Kapasia Upazila Sadar of Gazipur. Simeen Hussain Rimi MP, daughter of Bangataj, President of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Ministry of Culture, was present as the chief guest along with a large number of fans at the conclusion of the kirtan on Sunday night.
Among others, Kapasia Upazila Awami League president former MP Bir Muktijoddha Muhammad Shahidullah, Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mohammad Alam Chand,Upazila Awami League GS Mizanur Rahman Prodhan, Kapasia Sadar UP Chairman Sakhawat Hossain Pradhan, Awami League leader and former footballer Uttam Kumar Das, Geeta Pathak Bishwa Nath Banik and others.
