The 35th death anniversary of General MAG Osmani, the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces during the War of Liberation, will be observed today.
Different political, sociocultural and voluntary organisations have chalked out elaborate programmes to commemorate MAG Osmani’s death anniversary. Meanwhile, Bangabir General MAG Osmani Birth Centenary Udjapon Parishad, Sylhet organised several programmes, including a doa mahfil, offering fatehta and placing wreaths at his grave on the occasion.
