In media, Shamima Tusty started her career before Nazia Haque Orsha. But they have a nice friendship between them. For the first time, these two friends worked together in a drama serial.
Under Sokal Ahmed’s direction Orsha and Tusty are working together in serial Babui Pakhir Basha. Tusty and Orsha are playing the roles of Nusrat and Prerona respectively. Like real life they are friend on the screen.
While sharing her feelings to work with Orsha in a serial for the first time Tusty told this correspondent, “Though Orsha started her career in media after me but we have already built up a nice relationship between us that is we are good friends in real life. Orsha is a good actress. I always prefer to work with her on the screen.”
Orsha shared her feelings by this way, “In the serial, I am really enjoying acting with Tusty. Our characters are very interesting. So we worked joyfully while taking part in shooting of the serial. Tusty has already established her position by virtue of her acting skill. I always wish her success.”
Meanwhile, on the occasion of coming Eid Orsha has acted in Afzal Hossain’s Chhoto Kaku series’ Dhak Bajlo Dhakai. She is one of the regular actors of this serial. “It is really a great achievement for me that I have been working under such a noted director like Afzal Hossain’s direction for several years at a time,” she said.
Under Sokal Ahmed’s direction Tusty first worked in a serial titled Thikana Jana Nei.
On the other hand, under Sokal’s direction Orsha acted a serial titled Phulmohol is being telecasted on Banglavision now. Kazi Shahedul Islam wrote story of serial Babui Pakhir Basha, which is being aired on ATN Bangla now.
However, Tusty has been also engaged with her organisation Aamra Manush. Under this platform she has been working to create awareness among the young generation about the liberation war. Not only this, she also comes forward to help someone with this foundation now.
