Earlier Shahriar Nazim Joy acted in several numbers of movies. But he has made only movie titled Prarthona. It was released in 2015. He has not only popularity as an actor but also fame as a writer.
After a break of one year, Joy is going make another movie. He is more serious about this movie. In fact, this time he is very much optimistic rather than his previous movie. Title of Joy’s second movie is Arpita. Story, script and diloague were also written by Joy himself. Popular actress of the small screen Golam Farida Chhonda acted in the title role of the movie.
Though the main story revolves with the role of Arpita but there is also importance of other role titled Puja in the movie. Orsha acted in role of Puja. Basically main story is focused with these two characters in the movie.
While talking about the movie director Shahriar Nazim Joy told this correspondent, “Arpita is the winning story of the battle of a lower middle class woman. According to the demand of the story I have selected Orsha and Chhonda in the movie. Both of them have acted outstandingly well. As its storyteller, I also got huge response and appreciation from this movie. I have tried my level best to express my role properly while making the movie. I am really grateful to all of them.”
Actress Chhonda shared her feelings by this way, “As it is my first acted movie I was really excited in this regard. Story of the movie attracted me a lot. I hope viewers will accept the movie positively. It is my first work under Joy’s direction. I believe overall it has become a nice work at last.”
Shooting of the movie began in the city’s Uttara area on October 26.
Orsha shared her feelings by this way, “If I said honestly speaking there is difference movie and TV play. It was feeling a mixed reaction for me. For this reason, while taking part in the shooting I was thinking about my acting. At last, I have successfully done its shooting.”
Director Joy informed the movie Arpita is planning to be released on May 8, International Women’s Day in 2017.
Producing under the banner of Impress Telefilm Ltd Golam Mostafa Bachchu was in cinematography of the movie. Dr Enamul Haque, SM Mohsin, Shabnam Parvin, among others, are also acting in other roles in the movie. He is also acting in an important role.
