The orientation program for the newly admitted students for the Summer Semester 2021 of East West University (EWU) was held on the Zoom platform on Thursday.
Nearly 1000 students were admitted to graduate and undergraduate programs in different departments this semester. The objective of the program was to welcome new students and introduce them to university facilities, faculty members, the academic system and the rules and regulations of the institution.
The program was attended by Dr. Ahmad Kaikaus, Principal Secretary of Prime Minister of Bangladesh, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Farashuddin, Chief Adviser, EWU and Former Governor of Bangladesh Bank, Prof. Dr. M.M. Shahidul Hassan, Vice Chancellor, EWU and Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ziaulhaq Mamun, Pro Vice Chancellor, EWU.
On the occasion, Dr. Ahmad Kaikaus said to the newcomers, Set your dream and be ready to fulfill that dream, not just for the position. At the same time, he called for working for the welfare of the country and people.
Prof. Dr. Farasuddin advised the new students to prepare themselves to become future entrepreneurs to take the country’s economy more forward. Faculty members and officials of EWU also participated in the program.
