An orientation programme arranges for the students of the session 2021-2022 of Chapainawabganj Polytechnic Institute and parents gathering at its auditorium on Wednesday. It was held with the acting principal Engineer AJM Masudur Rahman in the chair.
It was also attended by the deputy commissioner of Chapainawabganj AKM Galiv Khan as the chief guest and chairman of Baroghoria union parishad Harun Or Rashid and officer in charge of Chapainawabganj sadar thana Mozaffar Hossain as special guests.
Chief Instructor of the Institute Durga Charan Roy gave the welcome speech.
Among others, additional district magistrate Debendranath Orao, students welfare officer Azizur Rahman, president of Baroghoria Mess Owners Association Al Amin and secretary of the same Shah Alam also attended the programme.
Paying tribute to the father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and all martyrs of his family, martyred freedom fighters and national four leaders the chief guest said, our children are earning a lot through freelancing by using internet facilities.
He also asked the students to be enlightened people and work to build up Bangabandhu’s Sonar Bangla under the leadership of the prime minister Sheikh Hasina.
At last 1,061 new students under six departments were accorded reception with flowers.
