Md Nazrul Islam Khan, Secretary, ICT Division, Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology said, we must have to stress on creating new ICT entrepreneurs beside garments sector and have to provide them accommodation and facilities in government built high-tech Park from just now.
He said this while addressing as chief guest at the orientation program of ‘ICT Scholarship for Generations’ and new logo unveiling ceremony of country’s renowned job portal jobsbd.com.
He also said, for development of ICT sector, Government has already taken an initiative to establish one high-tech park in every district of the country and working to train up and create at least one entrepreneurs in union level.
Besides government initiatives, he urged private universities and institutions to come forward to contribute for creating new entrepreneurs like Daffodil International University.
Tapan Kanti Sarkar, President, CTO Forum, Prof Dr Yousuf M Islam, Executive Director, HRDI OF Daffodil International University, Md Mominul Haque Majumder, Treasurer, Daffodil Foundation, Mohammad Nuruzzaman, Executive Director, Daffodil Education Network, Mohammad Khan, President, Bangladesh ICT Journalist Forum (BIJF), Abdul Wahed Tomal, Chief Executive Officer, Comjagat Technology graced the occasion as the special guests.

Under this project, more than 250 students and professionals are getting scholarship for ICT courses, which will enhance their ICT power and will be helpful for the Socio- Economic development of our country and ICT Sector.
