An orientation event for the trainee of 26th round of IDB-BISEW IT scholarship program held at IDB Bhaban conference center on Thursday, 7th May 15 conducted by Islamic IDB-BISEW Project. A total of 196 trainees, selected for the free IT training under the IDB-BISEW IT scholarship program, attended in this program. Syed Mokammell Hosen, Principal consultant delivered an inspiring speech for the new trainees. Mohammad Nowser Ali, Project Manager and Mohammad Mosleh Uddin Ahmed also motivated the trainees by their speech.
Speakers welcomed the newcomers to join the family of IT scholarship and informed them about the rules and regulations. Alumni of the scholarship program also attended the orientation and they shared their experience and stories of success to their successors. Concentration, hard work, punctuality will bring a successful completion of the scholarship program and thus lead the trainees to a bright IT career, said the alumni. This world-class IT scholarship program changed their life positively too, they added.
The IDB-BISEW IT Scholarship Project was launched in 2002. The IT training program under this project started in 2003. The program’s aim is to enhance the employment prospects of meritorious Muslim youths who come from financially disadvantaged background. By imparting high quality and professional level IT training of global standard to these individuals, the IT Scholarship training program seeks to establish them as highly effective IT professionals who are able to secure rewarding careers at home and abroad.
More than 7,000 trainees successfully passed the training while 8,242 students admitted till 25th round and almost 5 and half thousand students already working in ICT sector after getting training from this project.
