The orientation program for the newly enrolled undergraduate students of summer-2014 semester of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) Department of Daffodil International University (DIU) was held on Thursday at DIU Auditorium. DIU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Lutfar Rahman was present as the chief guest while CEO of Millennium Information Solution Ltd. Md. Mahmud Hossain and Managing Director Ethics Advanced Technology Ltd MA Mobin Khan were present as special guests at the orientation program.
Emeritus Professor Prof Dr Aminul Islam, Director of Studies Prof Dr Zakir Hossain, Faculty of Science and Information Technology Dean Prof Dr SM Mahabubul Haque Majumder, Department of CSE head Prof Dr Syed Akter Hossain, Director (Student Affairs) of DIU Syed Mizanur Rahman spoke.
DIU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Lutfar Rahman urged the newly enrolled students to make the best use of the resources provided by the university and make them fit to face the challenges of the 21st century.
Earlier, the newly enrolled students were welcomed with a rose and tuberose.
