Sector Commanders Forum
A discussion on ‘Anxiety created by the militant evil forces and Bangladesh’s war of liberation’ organised by the Sector Commanders Forum (SCF) was held at the Jatiya Press Club. In the programme the speakers stressed upon building national unity on the basis of the spirit of the Liberation War and patriotism to root out militancy and terrorism from the country. The event was addressed, among others, by Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JSD) President and Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu, Food Minister Advocate Quamrul Islam, Communist Party of Bangladesh (CPB) President Mujahidul Islam Selim, Workers Party General Secretary Fazle Hossain Badsha, former Chief of the Army Lt Gen (Retd) Harun-ar-Rashid and former diplomat and SCF member Mohiuddin Ahmed.
