Bangabandhu Sangskritik Jote
A rally organised by Bangabandhu Sangskritik Jote was held in front of the Jatiya Press Club. In the programme held on Tuesday leaders and activists of the jote congratulated Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on receiving the prestigious “Vaccine Hero Award”. Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunization (GAVI) conferred the award upon the Prime Minister at a ceremony held at the UN Headquarters in recognition of Bangladesh’s outstanding success in vaccination to immunise children. The function was addressed, among others, by Vice-President of the jote Rafiqul Alam, its General Secretary Arun Sarker Rana, artistes Monoronjan Ghoshal, former President of Muktijoddha Sangsad Shaqikul Bahar Majumder Tipu and President of Bangabandhu Gabeshana Parishad Lion.
