Bangabandhu Shahitya Parishad
A discussion titled ‘Bangabandhu in Bangla Literature’ organised by Bangabandhu Shahitya Parishad was held in the auditorium of the Jatiya Press Club. In the programme held on Thursday the speakers called for infusing the ideology of Bangabandhu into the new generation’s minds saying Bangabandhu had made his best efforts to rebuild the war-ravaged country and ensured development in the quickest possible time. They also said Bangabandhu was no more but his ideals, courage, political wisdom, patriotism and love for general masses would inspire generations after generations to be patriotic and hard-working. The function was addressed, among others, by chief patron of the parishad Mozaffar Hossain Paltu, former Vice-Chancellor of Dhaka University Prof Dr A A M S Arefin Siddique, DU Professor Niranjan Adhikari and President of Bangladesh Betar-Television Shilpi Sangstha Dr Enamul Haque.
