Sushasoner Jonya Procharavizan
A discussion organised by Sushasoner Jonya Procharavizan was held in the city’s CIRDAP auditorium. Planning Minister M A Mannan was presen as the chief guest in the programme held recently. While speaking Mannan said the government has been formulating and implementing social safety net and health services as well as other development projects prioritizing the tax equity highest. The minister said the government wants to introduce a dynamic tax system alongside ensuring the effective and actual use of the collected money as tax for the welfare of people. The government is also working to build up community clinic across the country to hasten the social safety net and easy health services, he added. He called upon the people to build up social movement to raise strong voice for tax equity. Chairman of the organisation Abdul Awal presided over the event.
