President and Secretary of Mahanagar Sarbajanin Puja Committee Shoilendra Nath Majumder and Advocate Kishor Ranjan Mandol and President and Secretary of Bangladesh Puja Udjapan Parisad Milon Kanti Dutta and Nirmol Chattarjee in a joint statement greeted all on the occasion of Shri Krishna’s Janmashtami. They said the messages of welfare remain in all religions and it is possible to establish exploitation-free society following the significance of the messages. They said all of us should go ahead taking the ideals of respective religion with a view to eliminating disparity among the human beings.

A discussion in memory of those who were killed in August 21grenade attack organized by Bangladesh Sangbadik Adhikar Forum was held at the Jatiya Press Club. Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM Mozammel Haque was present as the chief guest in the programme held on Wednesday. While speaking Mozammel said the anti-liberation forces wanted to bury the spirit of the War of Liberation through assassinating Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman along with his family members.
