Bangladesh Tariqat Federation
A meeting organised by Bangladesh Tariqat Federation (BTF) was held at the office of its Secretary General in the city’s Kalabagan on Sunday. In the meeting the speakers condemned and protested the brutal killings at Holey Artisan Bakery in the city’s Gulshan on July 1 last. They also expressed profound sympathy to the bereaved family members and prayed for the salvation of the departed souls. The speakers called upon all political and social organisations and administration to be united to resist such type of terror attack and extremism. The meeting was addressed, among others, by BTF Secretary General Lion MA Awal, MP, its Presidium Member Syed Haibul Bashar Maizbhandari, Organising Secretary Muhammad Ali Faruqui, International Affairs Secretary Syed Tayabul Bashar Maizbhandari and Social Welfare Secretary Shah Ali Hossain. Chairman of the federation Alhaj Syed Nazibul Bashar Maizbhandari, MP presided over the programme.
