Work for a Better Bangladesh Trust
A rally organised by Work for a Better Bangladesh Trust (WBB Trust) was held in front of the Abahani Playground in the city’s Dhanmondi on Wednesday. In the programme the speakers urged the government and other authority concerned to ensure zebra crossing on the highways for the safe movement of women, children and disabled people. Disabled people can play vital role for the development of the society and state if their free access is ensured, they added. The function was addressed, among others, by Policy Officer of the Institute of Wellbeing ANM Masum Billah Bhuiyan, student of Asian University of Women Sumaiya Tabassum Mim, Network Officer of the organisation Shuva Karmaker and Chairman of Human Rights Disability and Development Rajib Sheikh. Director of WBB Trust Gaus Piari presided over the event.
