Department of Innovation & Entrepreneurship of Daffodil International University, Daffodil International School and Bangladesh Skill Development Institute (BSDI) jointly organised ‘Mompreneurs Haat and certificate giving ceremony at 71 Milonayoton of the university yesterday . Madam Shamima Shahriar, MP was present as Chief Guest and distributed certificates among the successful Mompreneurs. Professor Dr. Lafia Jamal, President of Bangladesh Robot Olympiad and Chairperson, Department of Robotics & Mechatronics Engineering, University of Dhaka were present as the special guests. Mr. Mohammad Nuruzzaman, CEO of Daffodil Family was present as the guest of honour in the programme . Besides, K M Hasan Ripon, Advisor, Bangladesh Skill Development Institute (BSDI), Lt Col. (Retd) Md Zahirul Islam, Principal, Daffodil International College, Dr Mahmudul Hasan, Principal, Daffodil International School were also present. While addressing as chief guest Madam Shamima Shahriar said that entrepreneurs are big assets of our country. They will create huge employment opportunity in future. Finally Madam Shamima Shahriar distributed certificate among 2nd batch students of Mompreneurs.

An orientation programme for CSE & EEE students of Canadian University of Bangladesh for Summer-2019 was held at ‘Sarafat Chowdhury Auditorium’ of the University recently , says a press release. Vice Chancellor, Prof Dr. Mohammad Mahfuzul Islam, P.Eng and Prof Dr Nazrul Islam, Advisor, Board of Trustees blessed the occasion with their valuable presence. Dr. MD Shahrukh Adnan Khan, Dean, School of Science & Engineering and Head of EEE Department briefed the students regarding University Features and conveyed message of founder Chairman, Board of Trustees, Dr. Chowdhury Nafeez Sarafat. Programme was supervised by Acting Head, Dept. of CSE, Faria Tabassum. Among others, Mr. Mostafizur Rahman, Mr. Manjurul Haque also Mr. S. Mahmudul Hasan from CSE Department and Head of English Dept. (Acting) Ms. Fiza Jefreen were present in the occasion, says a press release.
