Bangladesh Accreditation Council Chairman Prof Dr. Mesbauddin Ahmed and newly- appointed four members paid tributes to the grave of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at Tungipara in Gopalgonj yesterday. They offered special prayer there. Newly appointed members are: former secretary Istiaque Ahmed, former VC of SUST Prof Dr. M. Golam Shahi Alam, former VC of NSTU Prof Dr Sanjay Kumar Adhikary and Dr. SM Kabir (Professor, Department of Marketing, Rajshahi University). All of them felt proud to pay tribute to Bangabandhu. After offering munajat ,Council Chairman Prof Dr. Mesbahuddin Ahmed told the journalists , BAC will work for the improvement of education. Earlier in the morning, they placed wreaths at the portrait of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at 32 No Dhanmondi in the capital, says a press release.
Obhibhabok Oikya Forum
Leaders of Obibhabok Oikya Forum in a statement to the press yesterday expressed concern over increasing tuition fees of students at the beginning of the academic year, says a press release. They expressed their concern from a meeting of the executive committee of the organisation . They alleged that the tuition fees have been increased in Motijheel Ideal School and College , Natre Dame College and Viqarunnisa Noon School & College which is illogical . The meeting was presided over by Md Belayet hossain and it was attended by Fahim Uddin, Rafiqul Islam, Selimusddin , Shamali Shimu SI Mojumder and Adv Harun-or-Rashid .

MikroTik Academy’s expanding routeros learning programmes have been launched for the first time in Bangladesh at Daffodil International University (DIU) yesterday. The launching ceremony was held at conference room of the university.
