Sramik Karmachari Oikya Parishad
Leaders of Sramik Karmachari Oikya Parishad led by its Chairman Kamrul Hasan called on Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Choudhury at her office. The leaders of the parishad handed over a memorandum containing proposals for the welfare of the labourers to the Speaker in the function held recently. While speaking the Speaker said that the government has allotted a separate budget for the welfare of the workers. BGMEA is now providing the female labourers with lactating mother allowance. She said that the government under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is working relentlessly to establish a worker friendly industrial environment. The event was attended, among others, by Shirin Akhter, MP, members and leaders of the parishad Dr Wazedul Islam Khan, Shah Mohammad Abu Jafar, Kamrul Ahsan, Chowdhury Ashiqul Alam, Saifuzzaman Badshah, Rajekuzzaman Ratan and senior official of the parliament.
