Jatiya Adibashi Parishad
A discussion titled ‘Participation and Budget Thinking for Development of Marginalised Population’ organised jointly by development organisations including Jatiya Adibashi Parishad, Rulfao and Association for Land Reform and Development was held at Hotel Warishan in Rajshahi. In the programme held recently the speakers called for ensuring social justice and sustainable development of living and livelihood conditions of ethnically minority communities in the greater Rajshahi region as it has become crucial for their peaceful existence. So, all the government and non-government entities concerned should come forward and work together to this end. Rulfao Director Afzal Hossain presided over the event. The function was also addressed, among others, by General Secretary of Workers Party of Bangladesh Fazley Hossain Badsha, MP and Prof Chowdhury Sarwar Jahan from the Department of Geology and Mining of Rajshahi University.
