A discussion on ‘Necessity of national unity for removal ongoing political crisis’ organised by Progressive Nationalist Party (PNP) was held in the auditorium of Bangladesh Photo Journalists’ Association in the city’s Purana Palton on Thursday. In the discussion the speakers bitterly criticized secret series killings and attacks on religious minority people. The leaders also stressed upon the national unity and fair election to avoid these unwanted criminal activities. The programme was addressed, among others, by leader of 20-party alliance Ahsan Habib Linkon, Secretary General of Bangladesh National Awami Party-Bangladesh NAP M Golam Mostofa Bhuiyan, Presidium member of National Democratic Party Manjoor Hossain Esha, Secretary General of PNP Firoj Mohammad Liton and President of Jatiyatabadi Projanmo 71 Dhali Aminul Islam Ripon. Chairman of the National People’s Party Dewan Anisur Rahman presided over the function.
