Nat’l Peasants Association
A rally organised by National Peasants Association was held in front of the Jatiya Press Club. In the programme held recently the leaders of the association demanded re-fixation of the price of agricultural products including paddy, jute, wheat and maize. They urged the government to form permanent price committee for the fixation of profitable price of agricultural products. Executive President of the organisation Mahmudul Hasan Manik presided over the function. The event was addressed, among others, by General Secretary of Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal Shirin Akhter, General Secretary of the association Aminul Islam Golap, its Organising Secretary Karam Ali and General Secretary of National Domestic Women Employees Union Murshida Akhter Nahar. The leaders called upon all the peasants to be united to meet the demands for their greater interest and also the country.
