CPB Women Cell
A token sit-in organised by Communist Party of Bangladesh (CPB), Women Cell was observed in front of the Jatiya Press Club in the city on Monday. In the programme the leaders of the organisation demanded exemplary punishment to those involved in repression on women and children and violating. They also called upon all to forge greater movement against these crimes. The function was addressed, among others, by General Secretary of CPB Comrade Mohammad Shah Alam, General Secretary of its central committee Comrade Joly Talukder, General Secretary of Samajtantrik Nari Forum Engineer Shampa Basu, Comrade Maksuda Akhter Laily and Member of women cell Comrade Luna Noor. Comrade Laxmi Chakravarti presided over the event.
