DU Mass Communication & Journalism Alumni Assoc
A new executive committee of Dhaka University Mass Communication and Journalism Alumni Association was formed on Saturday with Swapan Kumar Das and Associate Professor Sabrina Sultana Chowdhury as President and General Secretary respectively. The 41-member committee was formed at its 9th annual general meeting held on Saturday at the alumni floor of Nabab Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Bhaban on Dhaka University campus. The other office-bearers are: Nargis Begum Mini, Farida Yasmin, Kazi Moazzem Hossain and Dr. Mohammad Kamal Uddin Jasim as Vice-Presidents; Mir Attaqui Masruzaman Roni, Mahmud Menon Khan, Ahmed Pipul, Sharmin Iffat Shams (Tuli), Jesmin Jahan Moon as Joint Secretaries; Tariqul Islam Khan Rabin as Treasurer; Salahuddin Mahmud Chowdhury as Organising Secretary; Sujon Mahmud as Publication Secretary; Md Asaduzzaman Kajol as Office Secretary and Anwarul Azim as Communication Secretary. DU Former VC Prof Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique and Prof Dr Sakhawat Ali Khan were present at the function, among others.
