A meeting organised by Amra Muktijoddhar Santan, Central Committee was held at its temporary office in the city’ Bangabandhu Avenue on Tuesday. In the programme President of the organisation Humayun Kabir demanded to keep 30% quota for the wards of freedom fighters in the government service. He said 30% freedom fighters quota in the government service is the gift of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. So, this gift cannot be ruined by the hands of Bangabandhu’s daughter Sheikh Hasina, Humayun added. The function was also attended, among others, by Presidium Member of the organisation Hazi Emdadul Haque, its General Secretary Syed Ashraful Islam Nayan, Publicity Secretary Shahparan Siddiqui Tareque and its Dhaka Mahanagar unit General Secretary Salahuddin.
