Bangabandhu Academy
A memorial meeting on former General Secretary of Awami League and Public Administration Minister Syed Ashraful Islam organised by Bangabandhu Academy was held in the auditorium of the Institution of Diploma Engineers, Bangladesh in the city’s Kakrail. Awami League Presidium Member Mohammed Nasim was present as the chief guest in the programme held on Monday. While speaking Nasim recalled the contribution of Syed Asharaful Islam in Bangladesh’s political arena. He said the communal and fundamental forces cannot be emerged on the soil of Bangladesh as people’s verdict in the 11th parliamentary elections went against it. He said that the present government will work relentlessly to eradicate the razakars and anti-liberation forces permanently as per the mandate received from the people of the country. He urged all to remain united and loyal to the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina as well as the ideology of Bangabandhu.
