Dhaka University Officers Association
A discussion organised by Dhaka University Officers’ Association was held at the residence of the President of the Workers Party of Bangladesh, Rashed Khan Menon in the city. While speaking in the programme held recently Menon said the country managed to avert a big disaster through the victory of Awami League in the eleventh parliamentary elections. “This victory is not the outcome of any stray incident; it is the result of hard work and development carried out by the government in the last ten years. People not only were very pleased by the gradual development activities, but also expressed their wish through the ballots,” Menon added. The function was also addressed, among others, by General Secretary of the association Musa Chowdhury, its leaders Mozammel Haque, Mahabub Sarker, Sarwar Hossain and Jahangir Alam. President of the association Syed Ali Akbar presided over the event.
