Avivabak Oikya Forum
A press conference organised by Avivabak Oikya Forum was held at Jatiya Press Club in the city on Monday. In the conference the speakers demanded cancellation of Primary Education Certificate examination without any delay. They also called upon the authority concerned to take necessary steps to ban coaching business. They demanded Prime Minister’s directive to hold governing body election in all non-government schools and colleges. In the conference the leaders of the forum declared programme to stage demonstration in front of all schools in city form 10 am to 11 am on July 20 next to meet its demands. The function was addressed, among others, by president of the forum Ziaul Kabir Dulu, Vice-Presidents of the organisation Mohammad Selim Uddin, and Belayet Hossain, Guardian of Motijheel Ideal School SI Majumder, Dilara Chowdhury of Viqarunnisa Noon School and College and Habibur Rahman of Udayan School.
Ganotantrik Bam Morcha
A meeting organised by Ganotantrik Bam Morcha was held at the office of Bangladesher Samajtantrik Dal (Marxist) in the city on Monday. In the programme the speakers expressed grave concern over the attack on religious minority and secret series killings all over the country. They demanded trial and exemplary punishment to those involved in the heinous activities. The meeting was attended among others, by Saiful Haque, Mosharraf Hossain Nannu, Abdus Sattar and Moshrefa Mishu. Acting Co-ordinator of Ganotantrik Bam Morcha Manosh Nandi presided over the function.
