Bangladesh Public Relations Association (BPRA) recently organised a get-together programme at Economic Reporters Forum (ERF) Auditorium in the city recently. President of Bangladesh Public Relations Association Mostafa-E-Jamil, Secretary General Moniruzzaman Tipu, General Secretary of Jatiya Press Club Farida Yasmin, President of Economic Reporters Forum Saif Islam Dilal, General Secretary of Economic Reporters Forum S M Rashidul Islam along with former and existing public relations officers of different organization were also present on the occasion. It is mentionable that from the beginning, BPRA has been working to develop professional skill on Public Relations and branding activities, says a press release.

The 97th meet up of Google Local Guide Bangladesh was held at Eastern University Auditorium at Dhanmondi I the city recently, says a press release. In this meet-up, 121 selected local guides got the chance to attend from five divisions and also from twenty-one districts around the country. As a chief guest, Prof Dr. Muhammad Mahfuzur Rahman, Dean of Faculty of Engineering & Technology of Eastern University was being invited to this meet-up program. In his valuable speech, he said, `We should come forward for volunteering works. By volunteer works, we can change a country and it’s people also’. D. Mahfuzur also told, `from the platform of Google Local Guide we can represent Bangladesh worldwide’. Moreover, Rubayet Tanveer Ferdous, MD , Flow Digital Bangladesh Limited and Mr Merajul Hoque, Marketing Manager Mazeda Network we’re also being invited as a guest in the Meetup. Mahabub Hasan Munna who is the Creator and Admin of Google Local Guide Bangladesh also share his experiences which he received from the Google Headquarter in California, USA as he was being invited by Google in the Connect Live Meetup 2018 as representing Bangladesh.

The newly launched cultural alliance has ‘Bangali Sangskritik Bandhan’ has formed a 31-member core committee for conducting election campaigns on behalf of the Awami League-led alliance candidates in the upcoming general election. Bandhan President Akbar Hossain Pathan popularly known as film star Farooque announced the committee on Saturday night following a meeting held at Shilpakala Academy in the city. Addressing the meeting, Farooque said members of the committee will work to make Awami League-led alliance candidates win in the 11th national election. He also urged the committee members to take part in the election process from December 11. Bandhan General Secretary Saiful Azam Bashar addressed the meeting, among others. The committee members included President Akbar Hossain Pathan (Farooque), Dr Enamul Haque, Kazi Roze, Salahuddin Badal, Liaquat Ali Lucky and Shahidul Islam Sachchu, says a press release.
