Bangladesh Minority Janata Party
Bangladesh Minority Janata Party has decided to expel Sukriti Kumar Mondol from the post of its General Secretary and general member for his anti-disciplinary activities as he joined the BNP-led 20-party alliance out of his personal interest.”Earlier on October 8, 2018, Sukriti joined the BNP-led 20-party alliance out of his personal interest without consulting it within the party forum, which is fully contradictory to the party discipline. We want to categorically say that the party did not join the 20-party alliance,” said President of the party Shyamol Kumar Roy. Shyamol said this on Wednesday while addressing a press conference at the office of Bangladesh Crime Reporters Association in the city’s Shegunbagicha. He said his party is pledge-bound to protect the interest of the minority community of the country. Shyamol also said they firmly believe that the support of the religious minorities of the country will be in favour of the pro-liberation political forces in the next general election.
Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal
Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JSD) said the attack on policemen and setting fire to their vehicles by BNP activists in front of BNP office at city’s Nayapaltan ahead of the national election is an ominous sign. In a statement on Wednesday the President of the organisation Hasanul Haq Inu and General Secretary Shirin Akhter respectively condemned and protested the incident and urged the nation to remain alert against all conspiracies to foil the elections. They said the BNP men carried out the attack on members of the police all on a sudden without any provocation, set ablaze their vehicles and vandalized private transports.
