Workers Party of Bangladesh
The leaders of Workers Party of Bangladesh at its politburo meeting held on Friday hailed the Election Commission for announcement of the eleventh Jatiya Sangsad polls schedule. Party’s President Rashed Khan Menon presided over the meeting. The party also asked the nominated candidates to collect nomination forms and submit those to respective returning officers in due time. On August 14, the Workers Party Parliamentary Board finalized the party nominees through the interviews of nomination aspirants. The party also called upon the 14-party alliance for reaching a consensus immediately on parliamentary seat sharing.
