Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal
An election rally organised by Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal was held at Kafrul in the city on Monday. Information Minister and also President of the organisation Hasanul Haq Inu was present in the programme as the chief guest. While speaking Inu said that using the polls as hostage the opposition political parties were engaged in a game of trying to free dangerous criminals. He also said that the Jukto Front had failed to explain the logic of their seven-points demands and so, they had failed to reply to his five questions satisfactorily. In the rally Inu proposed the names of Muhammad Shamsul Islam for Dhaka 15, Mir Hossain Akhter for Dhaka 17 and Nurul Akhter for Dhaka 14. He said all of them had played a vital role in the fight against BNP-Jamaat. Inu said those who were demanding a delay in the electoral schedule were basically trying to subvert the polls.
