A cheque distribution programme organized by Labour Welfare Foundation was held at the institute of Diploma Engineers, Bangladesh in the city’s Kakrail. Social Welfare Minister Rashed Khan Menon was present as the chief guest in the programme held on Thursday. While speaking Menon said the 21st August grenade attack cases verdict has established the rule of law in the country. He said the BNP presumed that none would face trial after committing even such a gruesome killing.Terming the grenade attack verdict as historic one, Menon, also the President of Bangladesher Workers party said. The function was also addressed, among others, by Bangladesh Trade Union Center General Secretary Dr Wazedul Islam, Bhorosa Housing Chairman M Shahed Ali and Bangladesher Workers Party central member Dipankar Dipu. President of Building Construction Labour Union Rabiul Islam presided over the event.
BD Govt Pry School Headmasters’ Assoc
A discussion on ‘Quality Development of Primary Education’ organised by Bangladesh Government Primary School Headmasters’ Association was held in Sagor-Runi Auditorium of Dhaka Reporters Unity. In the programme held recently the speakers demanded to meet its ten-point demands including appointment of Office Assistant cum Computer Operator in each primary school, formation of primary education completion examination board and enhancement of allocation of expenditure for the management of each primary school. President of the association Badrul Alam presided over the event.
