Center for Research on Liberation War
A public lecture on Libaration War and the independence of Bangladesh will be held at the conference hall of Bangladesh Open University main campus on Tuesday (Oct 2). National Professor and Professor Emeritus Bangla department of Dhaka University Padmabhushan Dr. Anisuzzaman will render his public speech. The programme will be chaired by the Vice-Chancellor of the University Prof Dr M A Mannan, educationist, freedom fighters of Gazipur, P.hd and M.phil scholars on Liberation War history will attain in the public lecturer. It is to be mentioned here that the Center for Research on Liberation war of Bangladesh Open University will arrange the lecture on Libaration War, says a press release.
IUBAT Nursing Society
Nursing Society by International University of Business Agriculture and Technology (IUBAT) organisaed a health check up programme at its Auditorium yesterday. The programme was inaugurated by the Vice Chancellor, Prof Dr Abdur Rab, Acting Pro -VC Brigadier General Dr Zahid Hossain and RN Shuvashish Das Bala, Coordinator, College of Nursing, were present on the occasion. The programme offered services for checking blood pressure, body mass index, vision test, papillary and capillary refill, blood sugar and blood group test and cancelling. All the checkup services were free of cost except blood sugar and blood group test. Faculty members, board of member’s student and staff took the services from the counters, says a press release.
