Mahanagar Sarbajanin Puja Committee
A prayer session marking 72nd birthday of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina organisesd by Mahanagar Sarbajanin Puja Committee was held at Shri Shri Dhakeshwari Jatiya Mandir in the city on Friday. In the programme the participants prayed for good health and long life for Sheikh Hasina. The function was attended, among others, by President of Bangladesh Puja Udjapon Parishad Milon Kanti Dutta and its General Secretary Nirmal Kumar Chatterjee, President of the organisation Shaylendranath Majumder and its General Secretary Kishore Ranjan Mondal, Journalist Swapon Kumar Saha, Pankaj Nath, MP, Cultural Secretary of Bangladesh Awami League Asim Kumar Ukil and Advocate Taposh Kumar Pal.
BD Private Clinic Diagnostic Owners’ Assoc
The second national convention 2018 organised by Bangladesh Private Clinic Diagnostic Owners’ Association was held at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre in the city. Health and Family Welfare Minister Mohammed Nasim was present as the chief guest in the programme held on Wednesday. While speaking Nasim said BNP is trying to create anarchy across the country ahead of the next parliamentary election. “Finding no other issue to argue with the government, now the party is just trying to start a fight to create unrest across the country,” he added.The next general election will be held as per the constitution like elsewhere in the world,” he said. The event was addressed, among others, by National Professor. Dr. Shahla Khatun, Director General of Directorate General of Drug Administration Major General M Mustafizur Rahman. President of the association Prof Dr Moniruzzaman Bhuiyan presided over the event.
