Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal
Information Minister and President of Jatiya Samajtantik Dal (JSD) Hasanul Haq Inu said the next Jatiya Sangsad elections would be held as per the provisions of the Constitution. He said Bangladesh would not be safe and peace would not descend on political landscape unless the misdeeds of General Zia, Khaleda Zia and their son Tarique Rahman could not be unmasked. The minister said this recently while replying to a query of newsmen after exchanging views with JSD leaders and activists at Kushtia Circuit House. Inu said unmasking evils of General Zia, Khaleda Zia and Tarique Rahman could not be termed as a vengeance against any family. Misdeeds of the Zia family, he said, should be exposed to safeguard Bangladesh and restore political peace in the country. Even it is also necessary to build a country free from militancy and terrorism, he added. The function was also attended, among others, by Deputy Commissioner of Kushtia Aslam Hossain, District President of the organisation Golam Mohsin, its General Secretary Abdul Alim Shawpan and its Mirpur Upazila President Ahammad Ali.
