Awami Swechchhasebak League
Leaders of Awami Swechchhasebak League (ASL) at a discussion have vowed to build country as Bangabandhu’s ‘Sonar Bangla’ by foiling all conspiracies under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. They took the vow at a discussion jointly organised by the Rangpur district and city units of ASL recently to observe the founding anniversary of ASL on Public Library premises in Rangpur. The programmes included hoisting of the national and party flags on party office premises, placing wreaths at the portrait of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on Bangabandhu Mural premises and discussion. In the function the speakers said the defeated forces of 1971, killers of 1975, August 21grenade attackers and BNP-Jamaat clique were hatching conspiracies and trying to destabilise the country to hinder advancement of the nation on the highway of development. Leaders of the district and city units of ASL, Awami League (AL) and its associate bodies participated in the programmes. President of district unit of ASL Sirajul Islam Pramanik presided over the event.
