Bangladesh Narimukti Kendra
A rally jointly organised by Bangladesh Narimukti Kendra and Bangladesh Sramik Karmachari Federation was held in front of the Jatiya Press Club on Friday. In the programme the leaders of the organisations demanded ensuring of security of the expatriate female employees. They also urged the government to take necessary steps to resist repression on women. A procession was also brought out in the city to press home the demands. The function was addressed, among others, by the members of Bangladesh Sramik Karmachari Federation, Central Committee Manash Nandi, Raju Ahmed and Taslima Akhtar Beauty. President of Narimukti Kendra Seema Dutta presided over the event.

Communist Party of Bangladesh (CPB), Bangladesh Udichi Shilpigoshthi and Bangladesh Chhatra Union jointly distributed relief materials among the flood-hit people of Kamarchak Union under Rajnagar Upazila in Moulvibazar district recently. The leaders of those organisations urged the government to take necessary steps for the rehabilitation of the flood-hit people. They also urged the government to give adequate relief materials among the flood-hit people.They distributed rice, potato and other relief materials among the flood-stricken people.The leaders of the organisations including General Secretary of CPB, Moulvibazar district committee Nilimesh Ghosh Bulu, its Assistant General Secretary Masuk Miah and student leader Subinoy Roy Shuvra were present during the relief distribution programme.
