‘King Abdulaziz Collar Merit of Excellent Class’ medal awarded to BAF Chief
Military Attache, Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Bangladesh Brigadier General Mohammed Turki M. Al-Garni handed over ‘King Abdulaziz Collar Merit of Excellent Class’ awarded by His Majesty King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Soud to Chief of Air Staff of Bangladesh Air Force Air Chief Marshal Abu Esrar, BBP, ndc, acsc at BAF Falcon Hall on Sunday.
Major General Tarique Ahmed Siddique, rcds, psc (retd.), Security Adviser to the Hon’ble Prime Minister. graced the occasion as Chief Guest. He said in his brief speech that this medal awarding bears the testimony of having excellent relationship between Bangladesh and Saudi Arabia. He hoped that this ties would farther strengthen in the days to come Mentionable that, it is first ever in the history of Bangladesh Air Force , Chief of Air Staff has been adorned with this highest military award of Saudi Armed Forces.
In his speech Chief of Air Staff expressed his heartfelt gratitude to His Majesty King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Soud and General Fayiad bin Ha’med Al-Rowaily, Chief of General Staff of Royal Saudi Armed Forces for awarding him the medal. He also thanked Military Attache, Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Bangladesh for handing over the medal. Air Chief also said that awarding this kind of medal from a friendly county is a matter honour and pride for Bangladesh Air Force as well as Bangladesh Armed Forces .
It is expected that, handing over this medal to Chief of Air Staff by Saudi King will play an important role for promoting cordial relationship between Bangladesh Air Force and Royal Saudi Air Force. Among others, Chief of Army Staff, Chief of Naval Staff, PSO, AFD, senior Officers from three services were present in the ceremony.
MCT signs MoU with DML
Aiming to improve professional experience and skills among the students beside academic certificate, Department of Multimedia and Creative Technology (MCT) of Daffodil International University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Daffodil Multimedia Limited (DML) on Monday at 71 Milonayoton of the Daffodil University.
Dr. Shaikh Muhammad Allayear, Associate Professor and Head, Department of Multimedia and Creative Technology (MCT) of Daffodil International University and Mr. Rathindra Nath Dash, Executive Director of Daffodil Multimedia Limited signed the MoU on behalf of their respective institution. Professor Dr. Yousuf Mahbubul Islam, Vice Chancellor of DIU was present at the MoU signing ceremony as the Chief Guest while Professor Dr. S.M. Mahbub Ul Haque Majumder, Pro-Vice Chancellor of DIU and Ahsan Habib, Renowned Cartoonist and Editor of Unmad Magazine were present as Special Guests. Beside this Professor Dr. Engr. A. K. M. Fazlul Hoque, Registrar of DIU, Mr. Abu Taher Than, Director of Career Development Center, Teachers and students of MCT Department were also present at the program.
According to the agreement, Daffodil Multimedia Limited will provide necessary cooperation and support for the students of MCT department for the practical learning purpose of architecture visualization, 3D animation, Motion Graphics, Visual arts and communication, Film and Media, Research etc. Daffodil Multimedia Limited will arrange workshop, seminar, grooming, marketing, client service, business idea competition due to increase the sharpness of students’ practical knowledge. Students of MCT will gate access to use the website of Daffodil Multimedia Limited as an online platform to sell their work. Students of Software Engineering can also be use this opportunity. Besides this students of Business Administration and Department of Entrepreneurship will also do their internship at Daffodil Multimedia Limited.
