Bangabandhu Sangskritik Jote
A discussion marking the fifteenth death anniversary of its founder member and noted actor Golam Mostafa organised by Bangabandhu Sangskritik Jote was held in the Conference Lounge of the Jatiya Press Club on Sunday. In the programme the speakers paid rich tributes to Golam Mostafa. The participants prayed for the salvation of the departed soul of Mostafa. They also called upon BNP leaders and activists not to create any anarchy centering verdict on BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia. The speakers said that the next election would be held under Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. The function was addressed, among others, by Food Minister Advocate Qamrul Islam, former State Minister for Home Advocate Shamsul Haque Tuku, Awami League leader Advocate Balaram Poddar, Vice-President of the jote and freedom fighter Mobarak Ali Shikder and General Secretary of the organisation Arun Sarker Rana. Adviser of the organisation Lion Chittaranjan Das presided over the event.
