31st BCS Cadre Assoc
The 31st BCS Cadre Association formed a human chain demanding safe road commemorating 31st BCS customs cadre member Ahsanul Kabir Sagar’s wife Shammi Khanam Tania, who died in a tragic road accident at Himachari in Cox’s Bazar on February 15. The government officials of Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) formed the human chain in front of the National Museum in city’s Shahbagh area on Saturday with the slogan “We want safe road”. Association President Abdullah Al-Hadi, its members Md Aminur Rahman, Ahsan Khan Robin, Mushfiqur Rahman, Iftekhar Alam, Tarajul Islam and Najma Parvin were also present on the occasion.
Bangladesh Bam Front
A discussion on ‘Leaking of Question Papers and Resistance’ organised jointly by Bangladesh Bam Front and Jatiya Ganotantrik League was held in the auditorium of Bangladesh Shishu Kalyan Parishad in the city’s Topkhana Road. In the programme held recently the speakers demanded to take strict steps to resist leakage of question papers for the advancement of meritorious students and the country. Chairman of Bangladesh Bam Front Dr MA Samad presided over the event. The function was addresseed, among others, by the President of Bangabandhu Gabeshana Parishad Lion Gani Mia Babul, President of Joy Bangla Mancha Maulana Mufti Masum Billah Nafiyee and Chairman of Bangladesh Ganotantrik Mukti Andolon Ashraf Ali Hawlader.
